December 22, 2006

Cargojet Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: CJT.UN) announced today that it’s management team joined together to raise in excess of $50,000.00 to support the Toronto Star Santa Claus Fund.

“Cargojet and its employees share a common goal of building stronger communities.
I am so proud of my team who accepted the challenge to lend a helping hand to raise monies for these children. Through the efforts and contributions of my team, we were able to put smiles on the faces of more than 1,400 children,” says Ajay Virmani, President and CEO of the Fund.

“The Cargojet donation was the largest ever single gift to the Star Santa Claus Fund, this is unbelievably generous. Mr. Virmani spearheaded this initiative personally contributing $37,000; his management team raised an additional $13,600.00 to reach their $50,000 goal,” says Barb Mrozek, administrator of the charity.
