Cargojet Income Fund Announces Record August 2005 Volumes

Cargojet Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: CJT.UN) announced today that they handled the highest chargeable weight on their overnight network in the month of August 2005.

Total pounds carried per operating day represented a 12.5% increase over the previous month. This marks the first month in history that in excess of 9.27 million pounds were carried on the network. “Customer demand for Cargojet services continues to increase as we enter into the traditional peak volume period and we expect this trend to increase as we approach year end”, says Ajay K. Virmani, President & C.E.O. of the Fund.

In addition the Fund reports that it continues to fully recover increases in fuel operating costs through pass-through provisions in its customer contracts and has not seen any deterioration in volumes as a result of recent world fuel prices. September customer demand and volumes continue the trend that started in August of this year.
